The Button Theatre Goes to the Dogs (and is Helping Out the Gwinnett Humane Society)

The Button Theatre, Atlanta's newest professional theatre company, is giving back to the community in a big way.

After deciding that each show will benefit a different local charity, The Button Theatre selected the Gwinnett Humane Society as it's first beneficiary.

"We said we want to give back to the community this year," said Button Theatre director of education Celia Rosenblum. "We want to do a different charity for each show and we thought, what would be an appropriate charity? And we immediately thought of the Gwinnett Humane Society."

Snoopy, the beloved beagle of Peanuts fame, and the rest of the cast of You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown will be hosting the Gwinnett Humane Society and its canine friends on Sunday, March 9 and Sunday, March 30. A portion of the proceeds from the run of the show will also be donated to this worthy cause.
