In June of 2006, while sitting in traffic on 285 driving to a rehearsal in Atlanta, Founding Members Celia Rosenblum and Mary Carolyn Conti decided that there just needed to be more quality theatre Gwinnett County. From this conversation, The Button Theatre was born. After a year of careful planning, research and many many meetings we presented our first production, Godpsell, in July of 2007.
Now gearing up to begin its first full season, The Button Theatre has already made a name for itself in the Atlanta theatre scene. The success of Godspell led to an overwhelming optimism and enthusiasm for a new theatre company -- with a new vision -- in the Atlanta area.

NEXT ON STAGE: Barefoot in the Park
Next on stage at The Button Theatre is the play, Barefoot in the Park. This classic comedy is the story of Paul and Cory -- newlyweds moving into their first apartment together. Their sixth floor home comes with some special features, the man next door who gets into his apartment by going through theirs, the small hole in the skylight and five flights of stairs. This look at the upheaval felt by newlyweds will have you laughing from start to finish.
The show runs July 5 - 27, 2008.
